How we choose our terroirs
Respecting the power and rhythm of nature, we’ve set our sustainable fruit plantations and production centers in nature’s best terroirs. Places where specific fruits grow to be the best of their kind, are also the locations of our factories. This is how we make sure our fruit can get frozen within the minimal time from harvesting and how we minimise our impact on the environment. Everywhere we grow, pluck and produce our frozen fruit solutions, the highest quality standards apply.
Our global sourcing strategy is built on long-term partnerships and a deep understanding of the terroirs where we grow. Our strawberries from Morocco are a great example of how we make sourcing truly impactful. And in this video, our colleagues will explain you how.

Our terroirs
Horquetas, Costa Rica
Our A-grade Supersweet pineapples ripen in the sunny fields surrounded by a virgin jungle we preserved. All the water used in the factory is rainwater: we purify it with a system of natural pools to make sure that no resources are wasted and that we stay as close to nature as possible.
Pozega Valley, Serbia
In the sunny slopes of Serbian mountains, where we’ve found our raspberry heaven. To make sure these fragile fruits get frozen directly after harvest in their purest form, texture and flavour, we’ve located our bio-sustainable factory right in the middle of the fields, with its own water purification system. Today, the factory is the largest production point of frozen fruit in the country.

Eastern Poland is a region of rich soils and a historically shaped agricultural know-how. We are proud to be a part of it, growing our raspberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, blackberries, strawberries, and sour cherries. This long list of hand-picked goodness is turned into qualitative frozen fruit solutions in our sustainable factory located at the agricultural heart of Poland.
