Fig Cookies

Cookies
150 g frozen figs - 260 g flour - ½ tsp baking powder - ¼ tsp salt - ½ tsp cinnamon - ¼ tsp nutmeg - 200 g granulated sugar - 1 egg - 1 tsp vanilla extract
Heat the oven to 175°C. Cut the figs into small pieces. Set aside. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Beat the butter and sugar light and fluffy. Then beat in the egg and vanilla extract. Add the dry ingredients and mix again. Finally, fold in the fig pieces. Scoop the dough with a tablespoon on a baking sheet, and bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet.

250g powdered sugar - 60g butter - 60g milk - 1 tsp vanilla extract - QS frozen fig quarters
Mix the powdered sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Top the cookies with some frosting and add a quarter fig as a finishing touch.
